Don't overlook the headlines above - the current price of gasoline is down a lot from just a few weeks ago. But if you would look back at the cost of gasoline just before big presidential elections, you will note that the price drops to reflect the question 'Are you better off today?'... Just wait a few more weeks - and watch out!!!
Jay Leno's opening comments 10/13/08 - went something on the order of: 'Have you seen the big price drops in gasoline today? $3.15 National average... Remember a year ago you said if the price goes over $3.00 you would walk!' The joke is - How much walking have you done? Our nation is really hooked on oil demands - most of it foreign imported oil. We need to keep this in mind and continue our fight to free ourselves from the Clutches of Foreign control.
Therefore the purpose of my website is to 'Help Do Something!' I believe automobile 
manufactures have a lot to do with the fuel cost problem, both USA and FOREIGN manufactures in trying to squeeze out every penny that can be found in our pockets to fill their own. I will point more directly at USA manufactures 'because they had the lead in automobile production and let it go!' That's a Shame! Today - General Motors's stock is trading at the '50s - '60s levels... Is it possible that they liked their big gas-guzzling vehicles dominating the market? If your company held huge stocks in oil producing markets - what better way to feed the pockets of your company!
The price for a gallon of gas (or diesel) is going up and up - without a doubt - it will soon eat even deeper into our daily lives. We need to find alternate methods to the current fuel crisis and its cost to prevent a negative change in our life styles. For example - we will have to move closer to work, take less or shorter vacations and fewer family visits. Most families will down size to one vehicle. Automobile sales are down across the nation.
Lets face it - We are all 'In Love' with our cars! We polish, embellish, highlight them with special colors, and we even build in all our comforts of life into them. They give us freedom to go and the power to go where ever! Really, some of us have a hard time letting go of our cars because they have become part of the family. Some cars we may have had since our (Birthday, Graduation, Special Gift, Pass down, etc.). Let's face it - It is time for us to act if we wish to continue our love affair and not revert back to a single car family or learn to ride a bicycle all over again.
We hear a lot about the new Hybrid cars running on Hydrogen (bottled gas), Hydrogen Fuel Cell 
(electric cars), Bio-Fuels (form sugar cane, corn, etc.) So what is the deal with our current vehicles?
Our nation has a population of just over 300 million people, to our 235 million cars and light duty trucks. To consider that over 35% are not licensed to drive - that's equates to more than two cars per licensed driver. That's a lot of cars/trucks! Those same vehicles burn 44% of the country's oil and releases about 20% of the industrial carbon dioxide emissions.
Fast-forward to years 2012 to 2020 we will be changing more toward the new fuel system cars commented above. In the mean time we will still be dependent on current fuel and its out-of-control prices. Every time an oil producer finds an excuse from stormy weather, a grounded oil freighter, fire at an oil refinery, to possible threats of war - they will hit our pocket to bail them out of their depression (as if our money pockets are endless).

What to do?
With over 15 years of automotive experience, 
I too was very skeptical about running a vehicle on new fuels from
- Carrying bottled hydrogen
- Remember the H-Bomb or Hydrogen Bomb, - Sugar cane and corn oil fuels
- These crops will compete with our food chain for farm land, - Hydrogen charged batteries
- Who likes to wear rubber gloves to avoid acid burns or the up-keep of batteries and terminals, - To even burning water
- Whoa! Burning water? Better look into this....
Burning Water? If this is so easy, then why are the big automotive manufactures not already making vehicles to run on water?
I had to do some homework and research to find out more about this new technology. I looked all over the Internet, looking for ways on how it worked and how I can convert my vehicles to run on water.
What I did find was that the auto manufactures and federal government have been testing and maybe still testing such water powered cars (See Google Search box below), but they have failed to disclose why it is a bad idea. After much research - my guess is simple:
- How would the government collect taxes to support the highways, from un-regulated water taps (no pumps to register usage);
- What would happen to the oil countries of the world and why should we support them;
- What would happen to the local GAS/Quick-Mart stores and every major service station;
- Not to mention the lost jobs for millions delivering/producing crude oil, gasoline, diesel, etc.
- Is it possible that the Automobile Manufactures are too deep into crude oil?
It could shut down the major flow of currency, via loss of jobs, loss of means to collect taxes (sales and income), reduce profit for the top five-percent (the wealthy). Or maybe cause the cost of owning a vehicle to rise beyond any dream of affordability. And side products from petroleum would also be affected such as chemical products, including pharmaceuticals, solvents, fertilizers, pesticides, and plastics. It could be serious!
So the way that I see it now, is the consumers are being shifted over to an alternate fuel source that can be managed and controlled, I.E. B100 / E85 Bio-Fuels from Service Stations (much like we know them now). To bottled hydrogen fuel from new Hydrogen Service Stations (Google Search "Hydrogen Highway") and to Hydrogen Charged Fuel Cells for the Electric Cars.
National Research Council reports that by 2020 we can expect to see the arrival of the mass-market hydrogen fuel cell vehicle - Oh! By the way - about 150 miles for each fill-up (recharge cost - unknown).

What I found was a lot of web sites wanting me to buy their plans on how to build a Water Fuel Cell (WFC also known as HHO Fuel Cell - HFC). Like most people, we are living payday-to-payday

What are the Savings in My Pocket?
Most drivers can feel the added power as they realize increased mileage per gallon immediately. Some claims are reporting better than 50% increase and others as much as doubling their miles per gallon.
Based on 2008 summer rates at $4.15 / gallon of gas, an average vehicle driven 12,000 miles per year, performing at 22 miles/gallon, will spend over $2200.00 / year for gasoline. With the VICTOR HHO-Fuel Cell installed the same vehicle can save between $300 and as much as $1100 for doubled gas mileage. A less efficient vehicle, performing at 11 miles/gallon could essentially double those savings. (I.E. $600 to $2200 - Individual total mileage may apply, reflecting in total cost and savings.)

And maybe re-open your mind to what is about to happen in our lifetime, that is Burning Water as an energy source. Can you believe that?
